Chapter 14. Josh gets his surprise and so do I
Sunday went great no complaints and before we knew it, it was time to hit the sheets for what could be a big Monday of at least new home or some good news. Bill was there first thing in the morning, before 7am. We all ate and Bill had the day off and decided to spend it getting to know the kids. Just him and them. He was gone by 7:30. Josh and I were alone for the first time in days.
“Come here my little pervert.”
All the pain from the other day was gone. It was just “us”. He jumped into my lap with a thud and put his head to my chest.
“Josh we need to go see your mom. You don’t have to go to school today and when you get home you will find out why.”
“Oh, that’s not fair tell me now. Pleaseeeeeeeeeee?”
“No I can’t and when we get you home you will understand why.”
We dressed and flew out the door and to his house. Anticipation in the air. His mom was waiting at the front door and he was totally stunned to see her there.
“Mom? What are you doing at the door? What’s with the congratulations banners all over?”
“Hi honey. Welcome home.”
She kissed him and then me and we entered the house.
“Mom, what’s all this for?”
“I think I will let Tyler tell you.”
“Tyler you know what all this is about?”
“I sure do I arranged most of it. Your mom did the rest while you were by me.”
“WHATTTTTT? Please tell me it’s killing me I hate surprises!”
“Okay! All right!”
“Come sit Josh. You too Tyler.”
We sat and I spoke.
“Josh remember the first time you asked me about DAD?”
“Remember, heck yes. Like it was yesterday!”
“Well anything else from that day?”
“Err, um, no I don’t think sooo. Hey wait a minute. What’s this? Hey no! Your not serious, are you?”
“About what Josh?” I asked.
“Are you telling me your adopting me?”
I smiled and said nothing.
“No? Really! OHHHHH YES! TOTALLY AWESOME MAN!”
He jumped on me and hugged the daylights out of me, and then his mom. He was totally speechless for a while and just sat there soaking it all in.
“When, how soon?”
“Today. This afternoon. A judge will be hear soon with the paperwork and by NOON you will legally be my son.”
“Oh totally awesome! This is so grrreat!!! MOM you need to see my room at dad’s house. It’s so totally awesome too.”
“I bet it is. Maybe I will see it tonight. You now have two homes and you will have the choice of where you want to stay.”
“But mom won’t you be upset?”
“Honey it’s a night of freedom for me, not one bit.”
She smiled and he looked at me.
“DAD?”
“Yup, its up to you.”
“Oh man this is so intense! KEWL BEANS!!!”
“I am gonna go to my room and get a few things for my other room at dads, okay mom?”
“Sure honey go ahead.”
I waited for him to get out of earshot.
“Jen, are you sure this is okay with you?”
“It’s a little late to change it now isn’t it?”
“No, I mean him spending so much time with me or at my place?”
“Well at first I wasn’t that happy about it. But, I have thought about it and I am positive. Its fine!”
“Okay? I guess.”
“Really Ty. It’s okay. I love him to death but I would love some free time too occasionally. It’s a blessing in disguise.”
“When you put it that way I understand, I guess.” I laughed.
“Yes I will enjoy having free time now and then. I have arranged it so half of his clothes can be brought to his other room and whatever else he needs. In a way its better too because the school is only two blocks from you over there and it’s a car ride here. Too bad, now he can walk to school occasionally.”
“I think he will live!”
“Me too.”
“MOM?”
“Yes Josh?”
“What did you do to my room and clothes?”
“I set it up so you can take half of your stuff to your new room.”
“Really? Wow, thanks.”
“Sure honey.”
“I need help!”
“Okay Josh, I will be right up.”
“Ty, you don’t have to go.”
“Why not? Its my job now too.”
“Oh, good go ahead then. I really am starting to like this arrangement more and more.” She laughed.
“I see that.” I smiled and headed upstairs.
“Josh why are you doing this now? We aren’t leaving for a few hours.”
“Oh, I guess I got excited and carried away.”
“Just get what you want together and we will bring that out to the truck. Before we go we can load the clothes I don’t want them wrinkled I hate ironing!”
“That sounds good. This is most of it right here. I don’t want everything at your place.”
“Fine. You take what you want. I don’t care.”
We loaded up the truck and went back to relax before the judge arrived. It was now just after 11am and he should be arriving soon. My beeper suddenly went off and it was my honey paging me so I called her. She had a problem at work with a child and wanted some advice. Well it wasn’t her problem per say, but she got involved in it.
“Yes, I understand. Well see what you can do. Yes the judge should be here soon and if you need me let me know. No honey, its okay. You didn’t bother me one bit, YOU NEVER BOTHER ME! Sure, I understand. Love you too, How is the baby? Good! Thanks. Love you, bye.”
“Wow, she sounded disappointed but I only heard you.”
“Not really Josh, she is just upset at something at work. Maybe I’ll tell you about it later.”
“Good, that’ll be fine with me. I’m starting to get nervous as it gets closer to noon.”
“I understand what you mean, I feel the same too.”
“Yeah, well your hiding it real well.”
“Maybe, but this is just as big a step for me as you.”
“I know dad, I am excited but I can’t really understand why I am nervous though.”
“It’s something we all get at times. I think it’s like that butterflies in the belly feeling when your anticipating something important or special that is going to happen real soon, but you don’t really have any control of the situation.”
“Yeah. Yeah, that’s it. That’s how I feel.”
I smiled at him and grabbed his shoulders giving then a gentle squeeze. My little cherub looked at me and for a second I thought I could read his mind. The doorbell rang and interrupted our moment. I was closest so I answered the door.
“Hi sir.”
Wow, holy shit! Before me stood a young man around 5’8 or so. On the thin side with a very short haircut almost to the point of a buzz cut. He was wearing faded jeans with a white tee shirt, an open jacket and a smile that immediately melted my heart. Even with trying to hide his braces he was wearing. He couldn’t have been more then 14 or 15 and I was mesmerized with the way he looked. I looked into his hazel eyes and cleared my throat to try and speak.
“Can I help you young man?”
“Yes, my name is Mike. I am looking for new subscribers to the local newspaper that I deliver in this neighborhood. Can you help me by signing up for the daily edition?”
“Um, yes... well I just a second. Hey Jen, can you come to the door for a minute?”
“Yes?”
“This young man is looking for customers for his paper route. Are you interested?”
“Yes, sure why not. I usually pick up the paper every day any way. What’s your name dear?”
“Michael Langry.”
“Well Michael you can start delivery tomorrow if you like.”
“Yes I will, thank you. Usually by 7am.”
He turned to leave before I could have one more look at his stunning face.
“Mike?”
“Yes sir?”
“Do you deliver over on Stonewall Drive?”
“Yes I do sir. Would you like the paper too?”
“Wow that is some route you have I am clear across town. Yes Mike I think I would enjoy getting it delivered by you everyday.”
“I know it’s large but I live over that way and work my way towards this end of town and this is my last block on this side of town. What’s your number sir?”

“Okay then I will start tomorrow morning at your house too. Thank you.”
“No, thank you Michael.”
He turned and headed back down the walk. I was in heaven the way he wiggled his ass as he left. I felt the old groin stirring. Damn, I better get this under control or I will get a nasty look from what’s his name, I mean Josh. I shut the door and turned. Too late!

Luckily his mom had already gone back into the kitchen.

He walked over to me and stood belly-to-belly and stared up into my eyes.

“Well it’s getting close to noon and if we don’t stop the judge might become a little suspicious walking in and seeing us like that.”
“Can we finish after he leaves?”
“Maybe. If your mom leaves us alone we can.”
“I will see to that.”

“Mom?”
He yelled down stairs.
“Yeah honey.”
“Can you run an errand for me after the judge leaves?”
“That depends, where?”
“I left my shoes at Jimmy Wallace’s house the other day and I don’t want to forget about them again and that’s on the way to where you needed to go later anyway. So if you don’t mind I would appreciate it.”
“I guess so. My first full day off in weeks and you have me running all over town, but at least I can get my stuff done too. Yeah that will work out great. Sure!”
“See! That was easy enough!”
“It sure was. She will be gone for a few hours at least.”
“Yup. She sure will.”
“Okay let me finish up in the bathroom and I will be right down.”
“Can I join you?”
“Well, I suppose so.”
“Great.”
“I am just washing my hands and fixing myself up some.”
“I know I just want to be with you. Besides I have to pee.”
He whipped out his tool and took care of business. I finished up what I was doing in the mirror but not before I watched him shake that last drop off his love tool.
“Easy there tiger, you shake that thing any harder and you might need a new one.”
“Ha ha!!”
“I just hope your not gonna be that violent with mine one day.”
“I wuv yours I wouldn’t hurt it for anything.” He said in a cute tone.
He smiled at me.
“Okay then. I trust you but you better not be planning to see if mine is detachable anytime soon.”
We left the bathroom together and as we hit the steps the doorbell rang again. This time I think it’s the Judge. It’s twelve o’clock on the nose. Jen got the door.
“Please come in sir.”
“Thank you young lady. I am Judge Bendix. Judge Harris is busy today so I came for him.”
“Thank you please come in and have a seat. I’ll get the fellows.”
“No need, we heard the doorbell.
“Okay then Tyler. This is Judge Bendix.”
We exchanged pleasantries and he immediately went to his duties. Within minutes the papers were signed and hands were shook.
“Okay you handsome young man this guy is now officially your dad in the courts eyes.”
“Yes! Thank you sir. Awesome!”
The judge got up and said his goodbyes and left. Josh turned to his mom and gave her a huge hug.
“Thanks mom!”
“Your welcome honey you have needed a man in your life for a while now and we are both lucky it is this one.”
She kissed him on the forehead and they broke their embrace. They both looked at me and I was just as happy as could be. I leaned over and gave Jen a hug and kiss and turned to face my son. Officially my son! WOW I thought. He gave me a look and then a big smile and he ran into my arms. That hug seemed to go on forever and I didn’t care one bit.
I looked up and saw Jennifer leaving the room. I was going to say something but I figured she just wanted to give us time alone. She came back out with her keys and purse.
“Okay you two. Now behave! I’ll see you in a few hours.”
“Bye mom.”
He gave her another hug and kiss.
“Hey Jen?”
“Yeah?”
“Thanks.”
She just smiled at me and winked.
“See ya Jen.”
She shut the door and headed for her car. Started it and quickly left the driveway.
“Well we are now officially alone.
“I know. Come on I want a piece of you. Now!”
“Easy Josh. Slow down and just relax.”
“Relax? Are you serious? Come on!”
“No.”
“WHAT? Why not?”
“Not here. At my place. I want us to have a very special night together at my place. Will you wait until tonight?”
“Well, um. I guess so. I really wanted a piece of you now but I guess tonight will be ok. What if Bill brings the brothers back?”
“He won’t. They are staying by him tonight and maybe for good depending on how things go today.”
“Kewl!”
“I have things for us to do for now anyway. Are you interested in joining me or do you want to stay here alone?”
He tilted his head and looked at me with half a grin and some confusion.
“Stay here alone? Why would I?”
“Dunno? Just thought I would offer you some privacy for a while.”
“Yeah right! I am going with you!”
“Lets get going I have several things to do. Then you will get your surprise.”
“Huh? What surprise?”
“Oh you’ll see. Soon.”
I turned for the door. He ran to me and grabbed my arm with both of his tugging at me.
“Come on don’t make me wait I can’t stand it when you do Pleaseeeeeeee?”
“What kind of surprise would it be if I told you now?”
“I dunno. But I hate waiting.”
“Tough! Now I am going. Lock the door behind you or stay here alone.”
“No way! Wait my stuff!”
We headed upstairs both grabbed armfuls of clothes and loaded up the truck.
“Go give it one more check Josh.”
“Okay.”
A few minutes later he came back with his cap on and empty handed. He slammed the house door and ran to my truck and buckled himself in and off we went. I needed groceries and a quick stop at my office to get a few things but I wouldn’t be long.
“I’ll be right out I just have to check with my secretary and then we are going shopping I need a few things for our house.”
“Okay. ‘OUR’ house! Wow that sounds so kewl! Hey, leave the keys please I want to crank the radio up.”
“Here, catch.”
I threw him the keys and headed inside.
“Remind me to get you a set okay?”
I yelled to him as I entered the building. He smiled at me pumping his arm and nodded yes. He certainly was responsible enough and I knew he wouldn’t drive it. Not if he wanted to live. It was a chilly day but warmer then it had been in the past week. The snow was melting on the ground but not to the point where it will soon be gone.
“Afternoon Mr. Christensen.”
“Hi Cindy. Do you have my mail and that present I asked you to get for Josh?”
“Yes sir its on your desk.”
“Thanks. If you need me page me if not I won’t be in for the rest of the day and probably tomorrow too. I will be here Wednesday and probably the rest of the week if anyone needs an appointment.”
“Okay sir. Anything else?”
“No Cindy that’s it for now. Thanks for getting me that present though.”
“Anytime sir. I am going to lunch. See you Wednesday.”
“Sure, see you then.”
Sure enough there it was on my desk just as I had asked her. Won’t Josh be happy when he gets this later. I took the gift and put it away for now and quickly did what was needed and headed back to the car.
“Josh, before I forget. I have been meaning to tell you about the camp this summer.”
“Camp? What do you mean?”
“After school is out I run a camp all summer. With everything that has happened lately I never got the chance to tell you about it. I would love for you to come all summer and be with me. We can run it past mom later but I doubt there will be a problem. Besides its just a little bit from here.”
“Camp? Really? Wow, awesome.”
I went on and filled him in on all the activities and what he could expect from camp this summer. I know it’s the middle of winter but this is when I start the planning and applications roll in for it. The locals love it and the openings fill up fast it only hold 85 kids. I am trying to get more buildings built but so far I haven’t had a contractor that has the time to do it and its kind of cold to break ground now.
“So do you think you might be interested in joining me?”
“Hell yes! It sounds like an opportunity for a lot of flesh and kids plus who knows what else can happen.”
“Yeah, I see what you’re getting at. Just keep that pecker in your pants mister. That is mine.”
“I know, I know.”
He smiled at me.
“It sure will be tonight.”
Now it was my turn to smile.
“Come on I need to go to the camp sight and then shop and then to the house.”
We drove off and I pulled into the camp and into my office for a special piece of information that I need for tonight’s present.
“Okay ready to go. What was that all about anyway? This place is dead.”
“Of course it is it’s a camp and not for winter. But you just gave me an idea. I will have to look into that. Maybe I can open up this place for skating on the lake and whatever else, the week you kids are off, ahhh, how about for the rest of the winter! If there is enough snow it might work! What a great idea.”
“Yeah it does sound good dad. You can get lights and light up a few areas too. Charge them and help pay for the lighting and other events that are going on.”
“Good idea Josh. I’ll call Cindy and leave her a message to get going on all the particulars.”
I filled in Cindy and she called my contacts and set up what will now be a small winter festival for at least the week the kids are off from school and maybe for the rest of the winter. I will have ice skating if the cold holds up. She called me back later to confirm that work on the lighting and setup of the area will start tomorrow weather permitting. Normally there would be a wait but in the winter there isn’t much to do around here so I probably gave a few people some work for a week or two between setting up and whatever else is needed. We shopped headed home for the rest of the day.
“Josh, I am ordering in tonight for dinner. Think about what you want to eat. The weather is supposed to get chillier tonight and I don’t feel like going out in it. When I get home I am going straight into the garage and we will enter that way.”
“Um, okay.”
Just as we got home the snow began to fall. When I got upstairs I put on the radio to get the latest forecast.
“Looks like we are gonna get some snow Josh. I guess the setup will have to wait until next week or a few days after. No matter we have almost a month before it gonna happen anyway but this cold and snow will help keep the pond frozen and maybe if they get started soon we can open faster too.”
“Great. How much snow?”
“The guy on the radio said at least 6” maybe more.”
“Kewl. Maybe I won’t have school tomorrow too. Then we can stay in all day and have fun.”
I smiled at him.
“Maybe? But you know it takes a lot to close school here!”
I called Bill to see how things were from the cell in my truck. He told me that everything went great and the boys were happy and eating a late lunch and that they were stay with him now but if its not too bad tomorrow they are coming over to get their things.
“Okay Bill no problem. It’s up to the weather now.”
“Yeah it sure is. I have to work tomorrow anyway. SO... I am getting the four-wheeler ready just incase.”
“I know what you mean. I have my truck in the garage and my four-wheeler is ready too.”
“You love this weather don’t you?”
“Yeah I really do.”
I went on to fill him in on the plans for the pond at the summer place and he was delighted to hear of it.
“That should work Ty. These kids need a good place for their winter activities anyway. I hope Miller construction can get those lights up ASAP and with this cold sticking around and the new snow you are bound to get the word out real fast about the skating and sleigh riding. That hill will make a great downward slope at the entrance of your place”
“Yeah I know. I am having them set up the kitchen too and the main cabin so there is plenty of food and drinks and of course a warm place to congregate.”
“You should have though about this years ago.”
“Yeah well can’t think of everything I guess. But this sounds like it will go over big time. Josh actually gave me the idea”
“Yeah Tyler it sure does. Tell Josh he is a smart man! Talk with you tomorrow okay?”
“Sure Bill. He is right here. He heard you on the speaker phone.”
“Hi Bill thanks for the complement.”
“Your welcome big guy. See you two later and Josh?”
“Yes sir?”
“Congratulations on your new dad!”
“You know?”
“Sure I do. Your father and I discussed it a while ago. I told him you were a great catch if you would have him.” He laughed.
“Bye guys.”
“Bye Bill.”
“Dad? Was I the only one who didn’t know about this?”
“Sort of, what kind of surprise would it have been with you knowing?”
He shrugged his shoulders and turned up the truck radio to a window rattling volume. I didn’t care because I liked this song and we were almost home anyway. I pulled into the driveway and waited for the garage door to open pulled in and we went to bring all his stuff into the house. About an hour later we had his room stocked and ready for living. I was literally pooped and sat in his huge beanbag chair; well actually I fell into it with a big thud. He wasn’t in the room and he came running in to see what the noise was.
“Gee thanks dad. You scared the crap out of me.”
“Sorry. Is that what I smell? Come here boy.”
He walked over to me and I took a whiff of him.
“Wow! When did you shower last?”
“Two days ago. Why?”
“Two days? Well guess what? You need a shower now!”
He looked at me like I was telling him something new.
“So do I need to wash you or should you go take one alone?
“Well that is a good question. Will you wash me now if I take a shower?”
“It’s close to three and I have a few things to do before dinner. You know if we go in that shower we are going to kill at least an hour and sort of ruin any plans for tonight. There is bound to be some kind of sexual play.”
“How about if we just shower and nothing more? Ten minutes and you can do your thing and I will go online for a while and talk to my friends.”
“Okay I’ll meet you in my bathroom. My shower is bigger then yours is.”
He ran for a towel and change of underwear. By the time he reached my bathroom I had the shower going and was just dropping my draws to get in.
“Wow nice ass dad!”
“Yeah like you never saw it before and don’t say that anymore it sounds too screwed up.”
“What?”
“Nice ass and dad in the same sentence. It just sounds so wrong!”
“Yeah I guess your right. Okay then nice ass there dude!”
“Josh you are too much sometimes!”
We both walked into the shower room and I already had the water on so we both jumped under the showerhead and got wet. You see I have a rather large shower with all the amenities including: Jacuzzi, Whorl Pool and hot tub in this huge room off of my bedroom. If I wanted to I wouldn’t have to leave my bedroom with the refrigerator and other cool stuff I have in there. I told everyone before how all the rooms are sort of attached by one hall and each has his or her own bathroom with mine at the end of the hall fully loaded. I made sure when I had this place built that it would be perfect in every way.
“Dad can I use your Jacuzzi?”
“If you want to but it will be without me. I told you ten minutes and I have to get out.”
“Never mind I will later. Maybe after we have fun tonight.”
“Okay now get over here and wash my back for me.”
“Sure.”
He washed my back and then my ass and the rest of me, of course trying to arouse me when he knew I had only a few minutes.
“Josh stop it or your gonna make me late for what I have to do.”
“What is so darn important that we can’t have fun?”
“The contractor for the winter festival. I have to call him back between 3:15 and 3:30 to see if he has the parts to set up everything tomorrow. That is if the weather holds up.”
“Oh, okay. Yeah I guess that is important and you need to get that done. Let me just finish you and you can wash me.”
“Yeah I want to see that stinky body clean for tonight.”
“Hey!”
“What? Don’t you want to be clean when we have fun later?”
“Yes but I am not stinky!”
“Not anymore but you were after we finished loading and unloading the truck.”
“Well I promise next time I will shower more often okay?”
“Okay. My son won’t be a smelly person. Not in my house.”
He just gave me a look and went back to enjoying the washing I was now giving his back. I made sure I gave his ass and groin extra time just to see if I could get a rise out of him.
“Hey if you keep that up I am gonna cum and ruin it for tonight.”
“Really? You mean to tell me you don’t have any control over yourself?”
“Not when you are cleaning my butt like that and washing my balls over and over.”
“Well I am done and ready to get out anyway. Rinse off and I will see you after you get out.”
I rinsed my head and got out leaving him to his semi-hard on a soapy body.
“Remember no jerking off now or you will ruin tonight!”
“Yeah, yeah I know. It is so tempting looking at little Joshie and knowing I can’t finish the job!”
It was 3:20 when I reached a phone and called the foreman of the company planning to do the work. He told me everything was good for tomorrow unless we got more then four inches of snow they would be there starting the work in the morning.
“Josh are you out of the shower yet?”
I yelled upstairs to him.
“Yes I finished a few minutes ago.”
“What do you mean finished?”
“All I meant was I finished washing myself and nothing more.”
“Oh good then we are set for tonight.”
“Yes sir we are.”
“Okay go finish and I’ll see you after. Hey one more thing.”
“Yeah?”
“I love you sweetie!”
“Thanks, I love you too dad!”
Josh headed to his room to play on his computer and I went to work on a few things for tonight, one being his present and the other just some details on the ‘Winter Project’ for the festival. It didn’t take long to lose track of time working on my projects and luckily my stomach was still a good alarm. I looked up at the clock and it was nearly 5pm. I went over to the window to check outside and it looked like the weatherman was correct. The snow was getting deeper. Time to eat!
“Josh.” I yelled.
“Yeah dad?”
“Are you ready for dinner yet?”
“Soon!”
“Okay, its almost 5pm and its getting slick outside I want to order before places stop delivering so get your butt down here and let me know what you want for dinner.”
“Be right there.
I decided to go up to see what he was up to.
I’m just finishing up talking to my friends on the computer. I met this guy at his online site. He has a really neat website and some decent stories and writers on it. It’s a help website for people with questions about being gay and gay stories on it too. His web name is xdjpaul and his site is awesome. You have to come with me if I go back on later. Some of those stories are really great to get you a head start on tonight.”
“That sounds great what’s the web address?”
“It’s: http://xdjpaul.tripod.com he is really a nice guy and I talked to him on his website for almost an hour. Quite a few of the stories are good reading dad.”
“Good I wrote it down and after dinner we can go look and see how good his writers are.”
“Maybe it will give us some idea’s for what to do tonight. I book marked it just incase.”
